What is your travel background?
I have always enjoyed travel even as a child. Although when I look back, growing up all of my travel was local but to me it was traveling the world. I graduated from college with a degree in travel/business and I started working for Mann Travels in 1988 and never looked back!
What is your BEST advice for travelers?
On a completely practical point of view: make copies of your passports. Leave 1 copy at home with someone and carry the original with you, that way you always have a backup. From a packing standpoint, if you're not going to wear something more than once don't pack it!
What is your favorite trip that you have taken? AND where are you planning to go next?
I loved London and Rome purely from the historical value, it was amazing. For natural beauty you can't beat Hawaii and the Caribbean.
What is your best travel memory?
I have a couple of favorite travel memories: visiting Rome and realizing people have walked the same streets for over a thousand years, experiencing Hawaii with the multiple islands and watching the hot lava flow into the Pacific causing a massive cloud of steam. Fantastic memories!
